Challenge
The Poznań dance club Rewiry was in need of updating their whole look on multiple levels — new DJs, new patrons, new target audience. Its aim was to become and stay relevant with a slightly older club crowd, setting itself apart from the other night clubs in the city that mainly cater to first to third year students. No trends, all style.
The iconic logo had to remain, but the rest was to be created from scratch.
Solution
The branding took a lot of slightly less obvious inspiration from 80s and 90s club culture to create something vintage that was at home today. It had to evoke a certain note of nostalgia without being too vintage.
Cyclical nights play a huge role at Rewiry — people would come out for a specific DJ or theme so most of the parties got their own little branding treatment while still fitting into the Rewiry canon.
There is a lot if inspiration of DIY club culture and low-res prints in the visuals to make it analog in a time where digital is king.
